Romania is such a beautiful country. I keep on saying people that this is the place to put in your agenda for a long trip. So much to see here and eat of course 🙂
I left my heart in Cluj (I wish we could stay more and enjoy the city) and jumped in the car to hit the road to Bacau. It was such a special road trip, mountains and all kinds of green. Probably, if there would be highway we would take that one and we would miss the fantastic part of our trip. Luckily we will have more of them. I’m excited to see more of that beauty and sniff it, get dizzy 🙂
On the way, George was keep on telling me “oh there is one trout place, the best trout” so we were hoping to see the place. But he didn’t remember where was it exactly. When he was there, it was night and it was very simple place next to the road, you wouldn’t think there is something happening. While we tried to put no pressure to find the place, we actually really focused on finding it. Finally, we almost lost our hopes and tataaaaaa! There was the place! “Pastravaria Cheita”. A short carnaval in the car, hurray, holleyy, yippee, yuppeeee! We throw ourself out of the car immediately. So the place is actually is pretty famous I suppose, we hardly found a table and there was a little zoo. How different the places can look in the night and in different seasons. It was a serious business was going on there 🙂
Hmmm… So it was time to sleep after a good meal but we had to go on of course. Bacau was waiting for us! George kept himself awake by making me shout all the time and enjoying with it like ” George, slow down! George why do you do that! George, lets keep ourselves alive” kind of stuff. But no worries, he is not that wild! 🙂
And finally we arrived to Bacau! Family time! George’s family is living in Bacau. I saw them last time 2 years ago when we came to play in Bacau. Oh! such a sweet people, beautiful family. Plus there was a new member(George’s niece) “Marioka(Maria)” with a big smile! Makes everyone around her happy. Everything was well thought, next day woke up, went to swimming pool and picnic timeee! We only drove 7 km and reached the forest. Only 7km and the heaven! I love it!
We filled ourselves/souls with fresh air to get ready for the concert at the Ateneu. We had very special guest in our concert, she listened us very carefully and quiet. It was a lovely concert, really nice crowd. Nice talks after the concert with the audience and again family time! I love family times 🙂 It was beautiful to end the day spending a nice time with Marioka.
Today is our free day. We will go to Panciu, where George’s grandmother lives. We will visit her, maybe get some “peltea(quince marmalade)” and some hug from her 🙂 Looking forward!
Till the next one,
